Don't worry. Dad is here. by Zummeng Don't worry. Dad is here. by Zummeng
OMG! WHERE ARE THE POLIGONS! :ohnoes: :ohnoes: :ohnoes:

I hope you will get a lot of inspiration, and you will do a lot of nice SFM pictures.
For me, every picture holds a story. This is tale about one of the strongest and most beautiful feeling, the love of a father. :pat:

Somehow I always liked the idea, that scout is spy's son. :D :aww:

I just really like this picture.:heart::heart:

How it was made:
1. I made a picture in SFM.
2. I loaded in GIMP, and improved it a "little".

How to make a picture like this: :typerhappy:
1. Launch SFM without freezing.
2. Chose a map, and a place in it.(Watch out, the computer should not freez this time eather!)
3. Get some inspiration, until the SFM doesn't crash. For exapmle listen to music.
4. Place the modells, make the poses with care. Hands are very important! MOVE EVERY FINGER! Please...
5. If the SFM haven't freezd yet, put up a lot of light source. That's why models should be placed in dark places.
6. Leave the faces for last.
7. Render it.
8. Load it with any image manipulator program.
9. Try to bloor the blocky poligons first.
10. Try to enhance the textures, like hair.
11. You can even re-draw or enhace their eyes.
12. Try to enhance shadows and lights.
13. Congarts, it's done! And GIMP and SFM have freezd only six times! :D

First off, your art is BEAUTIFUL. I mean, even in SFM it takes heart to make something like this. I'm inspired, and yet, I feel so inferior because I can't draw from the heart like this anymore. I'm accustomed to drawing similar subject matter as this, but it feels weird to show my art to anyone, (even though most people don't understand the characters, etc). I get asked by my relatives all the time to see my art, but my sketchbook is never filled with anything  more or less the same shit that I don't want to have to explain why I like drawing it, especially the sexual subject matter. So now I'm stuck in this neverending loop of me drawing "presentable" drawings that don't mean anything to me but filling the pages.. and I hate it. & then when I try to draw for myself I slander my own drawings & hate that I cannot do anything different, so either way I'm unhappy with my work. /: I used to not care at all what people think of my art, but something snapped in me & I've lost my confidence. :(
-end rant-
So.. just.. kudos to you, for capturing such a moving piece.
((But oh GOD this pic... I'm practically CRYING, inside I'm like no, no, no, no, this hurts, RUH. ;A;))
